Open-air pavilion
Eight bents, no walls — shade and structure in the open.

Eight hammerbeam bents, open on all four sides — a roof and a rhythm, for a meadow that wanted shade without enclosure.
The frame
size 24 × 48 ft, 8 bents species white oak joinery hammerbeam trusses, pegged roof standing-seam, copper flash
What we learned
Without walls, the frame is the whole building — so every joint got the finish-grade treatment. Nobody hides a joint on a pavilion.
